Kitchen

The main entrance to the property is straight into the kitchen, which features granite worktops and a slate-effect ceramic floor, with under floor heating. The appliances include a gas cooker and hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The window above the sink gives a lovely view of a meadow. Two slate steps lead up to the dining room.

Dining Room

A spacious ground floor room, with crystal lighting and an oak table with six chairs. The ingle nook fireplace houses a wood burning stove, although it is rarely used due to the efficient under floor heating.

Lounge

The upstairs lounge overlooks the old mill stones, which can be viewed from the glass balcony. There is seating for six people, including a sofa and leather captain’s chair.  The wood burning stove may be lit for added romance. A little door leads to a balcony, which is located on the old miller’s path. The view from here is delightful, featuring rolling hills and rural charm.

Main Bedroom

Accessed from the lounge, the main bedroom features an oak framed King Size bed, together with a chest of drawers and wardrobe. The window looks down through the trees towards the Afon Desach, the sound of which can lull you to sleep.

Bedroom

Located on the ground floor, this room has a (fully curtained) glass wall, which gives a fascinating view of the eighteenth century inner mill workings. The double bed is complimented by an oak chest of drawers. The tiled flooring has under floor heating.

Bathroom

The bathroom, which is upstairs and accessed from the lounge, features quirky beech doors and waterfall taps. There is a powerful shower over the bath.

Outside

Balcony with seating for four.

Green area next to the slate driveway.

Our own field, which is bounded by the Afon Desach and a great place to look for wildlife.

Alternative Sleeping

The downstairs bedroom also has an armchair, which can be converted to a (narrow) single bed. This facility means that two single people don’t have to share the double bed. Alternatively, the sofa in the upstairs lounge can be converted to a 4ft wide bed. Please contact us beforehand if you wish to use either of these options. Note that the accommodation for the property is designated for 4 people.
